This means that we develop lines and wrinkles which are obvious every time we look in the mirror.

Regaining a youthful appearance does not mean having to have a face-lift or any other surgical procedures. Dermal fillers are non surgical cosmetic treatments. They restore volume and fullness to the face and lips. Lines and wrinkles are reduced or eliminated. The effects are immediate.

Dermal fillers are made from both natural and man made materials, they can be semi permanent and non permanent.

Marek Skalka uses non permanent fillers which are called Hydrafil. This is Hyaluronic Acid which is found naturally in our bodies, in our skin, bones, joints and eyes. Due to its ability to attract water it acts as a lubricator or moisturizer. The filler comes in pre-filled sterile syringes and is injected into the desired area using local anaesthetic to make the treatment comfortable.

The effects of the treatment usually last between six and twelve months, and then can be repeated if you liked the effect.

If you are interested in the treatment you will need to make a half hour assessment where Marek will take a full medical history and assess your specific needs, he may also take facial photographs to help with the treatment plan.

A further half hour appointment will then be made for the treatment to be carried out.
