Penny Kirwan

Penny is one of our most experienced Dental Nurses and works along side Marek Skalka in surgery for part of the week, for the rest of the week Penny offers a number of Holistic Therapies at the practice.

Before Penny joined our team, whilst working as a Dental Nurse elsewhere she became very interested in Holistic Therapies having experienced the benefits of Hypnotherapy and Acupuncture herself. After exploring this further Penny decided to do some hands on training in the therapies that she felt would benefit others.

Massage has been a recognised form of treatment and relaxation therapy for hundreds of years and was of great interest to Penny, so she enrolled on an Indian Head Massage Diploma course at Solihull college in 2000, she then went on to Swedish Body Massage, a Diploma in Aromatherapy and finally a Certificate in Hopi Ear Candling, her training was completed by July 2003.

Penny is a member of the Federation of  The  Holistic Therapists and is keen to increase her knowledge by attending workshops, seminars and lectures.

Lesley McKenzie

Lesley has joined Blossomfield Complete Dental Care as a Holistic Therapist, who practices the ‘Five Elements’ form of  Acupuncture. This is a very gentle form of acupuncture that has many physical and mental benefits.

Lesley is from a medical background but has always been interested in Eastern Philosophy, so decided to explore this discipline

Lesley has a keen interest in the arts and expresses this by using multi media eg; music sculpting etc.
