John is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA), Association of Dental Implantologists (ADI) and vice-chairman of the Local Dental Council (LDC).

John qualified from Bristol University in 1986. He has worked in Solihull for 17 years. John is married to Jan (a medical practice nurse) and they have two children.

John's special dental interest is;

• Placing Dental Implants. Implants are a permanent solution for a missing tooth. There are two stages involved, firtsly a titanium implant replaces the tooth root and then a restorative crown can be built on top of it. John has trained to place the titanium implants in the surgery with the help of two specially trained members of our nursing team.
