03/02/2009 - Chill out before your Dental Treatment
Anxiety before seeing the dentist is extremely common and dental phobia is known to be Britain's most common phobia. We want you to feel as relaxed as possible before your treatment, so would suggest an Indian Head massage to ease your tension.
Massage has a lot of potential benefits, including relief from aches and pains, improved circulation, relaxation and a general sense of health and well being.
Penny Kirwan, a senior member of our dental nursing team and a holistic therapist, offers various Holistic Therapies within the practice including Indian Head Massage, Swedish Body Massage, Aromatherapy and Hopi Ear Candling.
As part of a new patient package you will be offered a complimentary massage during your first course of treatment. For existing patients who would like to have a massage before or after treatment there will be a 50% reduction off the normal fee.
If you are interested please contact the Reception Team for details.

Marek Skalka is offering 20% off all Facial Rejuvenation Treatments until July 31st.
May 18th-June 17th is National Smile month. Free Smile Makeover Assessments and Gum disease Screening.
What better time to think about your oral health than during National Smile month. The British Dental Health Foundation has revealed that there could be a link between oral health and overall body health.
This aim of this year's campaign is to present the growing body of evidence suggesting that people with gum disease are more at risk of heart disease, heart attacks, strokes, diabetes and, in the case of pregnant women, giving birth to underweight babies. The message is that by keeping gum disease under control you can prevent it from developing into more serious general health conditions.
During National Smile Month Marek Skalka and John Newland are offering you the opportunity of coming in and having a free "Smile Makeover Assessment", and "Gum Disease Screening."
Please feel free to call in or telephone to book an assessment.
