Sprintray 3D printer
Our newest piece of equipment, a Sprintray 3D Printer. This amazing technology means we can now make our lab work in-house.
Once we have taken a scan of your teeth, it is sent to our in-house lab technician who will design your restoration and print it. This not only reduces our carbon footprint but also reduces your waiting times.
We are currently able to print study models, inlays, night guards and surgical guides and we will be able to also print crowns and dentures very soon.
Itero scanner
Your dentist can create a 3D image of your teeth in just minutes using our iTero scanner, without the long wait and discomfort that conventional scanning methods bring.
This state-of-the-art technology results in an extremely accurate 3D model of your teeth and gums, which you will be able to see in your same appointment. At the end of your scan, your dentist will demonstrate a high resolution, interactive digital model of your mouth to discuss your best course of treatment.
The Itero scanner is perfect for showing you an Invisalign smile outcome. This is a great tool for helping you to see how your smile can look after Invisalign treatment.
Trios scanner
This scanner makes restorations like crowns, dentures and inlays easy to create whilst making sure you are as comfortable as possible. We are able to pause scanning if you need a break, unlike conventional and messy impressions.
CBCT Scanner
Our advanced CBCT scanner allows us to capture highly detailed 3D images of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures in just a matter of seconds. This technology gives our clinicians a clearer, more accurate view than traditional X-rays, supporting precise diagnosis and treatment planning. CBCT scanning is particularly valuable for implant planning, complex cases, and assessing bone levels, helping us deliver safer, more predictable results while keeping your comfort a priority.
Milling Machine
Our in-house dental milling machine enables us to design and create high-quality restorations, such as crowns, with exceptional precision. By producing restorations on site, we can often complete treatment in a single visit, reducing waiting times and eliminating the need for temporary restorations. The result is a strong, natural-looking fit that’s tailored specifically to your smile, combining efficiency with outstanding attention to detail.
Mini-Star pressure former
At Blossomfield Dental Care, we always aim to use the gold standard of equipment to give the best care to our patients.
We are using a pressure former to make all of our retainers, soft occlusal guards and whitening guards to make sure they are the best fit and the highest quality.

Edd Skalka
Edd started working at Blossomfield Complete Dental Care at the end of 2020, looking after our decontamination. He's always had an interest in the dental industry, with his parents being involved in dentistry for over 30 years. Edd now runs the in-house lab at Blossomfield Dental Care, offering same-day dentistry. He lives on a small farm with his parents, his Wife and their 8 dogs.
